To access Download Trends, head over to Analyze Market -> Download Trends.
The Download Trends is an app market insight feature that allows you to see the most downloaded apps for a selected period of time and a specific category.
You can customize the data you see by selecting:
iOS or Android app store
month and year for the displayed data
app Category that you're most interested in
The graph below will show you the respective changes for all the top downloaded apps. Hovering over any point on the graph will present you a more detailed information.
Below you will find a table with the most crucial information (according to the filters you've set up before):

Total Downloads - number of downloads for the app's lifetime
Selected Period - number of downloads based on the selected timeframe
Change - percentage of total downloads that occurred in the selected period
in the Chart colum you can toggle which apps you want to see on the graph
This is a great feature to get a deep analysis of the app market and also to find new competitors and popular apps. A great way to use this feature in your favor is to discover successful apps in your category. Then, you can use the App Downloads feature to compare the daily download numbers with your app or any other competitor.
