The CSV Upload feature in App Radar simplifies the process of managing and updating your app's store metadata. This feature is especially useful when collaborating with third parties or working on metadata updates externally. It allows you to import, review, and apply changes efficiently before pushing them to the app stores.
How to Use CSV Upload
Download Current Metadata
Export the existing metadata of your app for all localizations by selecting Download Metadata. This ensures you have the most up-to-date data for editing.Make Changes to the CSV File
Open the downloaded file and edit the relevant fields directly in the CSV.To add a new localization, refer to the Available Locales section for localization codes and insert the corresponding country code in a new row.
Upload the CSV File
After completing your edits, upload the file back into App Radar via the Upload Metadata button.Review Changes
App Radar highlights modifications for easy verification:Red: Removed data.
Green: New or updated data.
Save and Export
Click Save to save the updates in App Radar. These changes are not yet published to the app stores at this stage.
Exporting Changes to App Stores
For Google Play: Changes are automatically live within two hours after clicking Export to Google Play.
For App Store Connect: Log in and confirm the changes manually after exporting.
Ensure all changes are reviewed and accurate before exporting, as updates will overwrite existing metadata in the respective app store.
Adding a New Localization
Check the list of available locales by clicking See Available Locales.
Create a new row in the CSV file and enter the localization code in the first column.
Add metadata details for the new localization in the subsequent columns.
