ASO Dashboard

Learn how to use the ASO Dashboard for insights on app performance, keyword rankings, user feedback and market trends to optimize visibility

Written by Tony Bondar

The ASO Dashboard allows you to quickly gain insights into your app’s performance, including key metrics and keyword rankings. To make the most of this feature, ensure your app is connected to App Radar.

Keyword Rankings

The Keyword Rankings section shows how many keywords your app ranks for in the top 1, top 10, top 30, and top 100+ places. This information helps you assess your app's visibility in search results and refine your ASO strategy accordingly.

To explore keyword performance:

  • Use the country dropdown to select a specific country or view all tracked countries.

  • Select a date range from the dropdown (last 7, 30, or 90 days, last month or customize the specific range).

  • Choose the view of the graph or the chart that is most convenient for you.

Each bar in the chart represents a day, showing the total number of keywords ranked across different tiers. Hover over a bar for detailed information on keyword rankings for that day.

Search Visibility Score

The Search Visibility Score shows your app’s discoverability in organic search over time. Monitoring this score allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of your ASO efforts and identify trends in your app’s visibility.

To adjust the view:

  • Select a specific country using the dropdown menu.

  • Use the date range selector to analyze visibility trends over a chosen period.

How Is the Search Visibility Score Calculated?

The search visibility score is determined by analyzing your app's keyword rankings in conjunction with the search volume for each keyword.

Based on these metrics, a score is calculated and then correlated with the scores of competing apps.

Therefore, an app that ranks highly (within the top 10) on keywords with significant search volume will have a higher search visibility score.

ASO Score and Suggestions

The ASO Score provides a quick assessment of your app’s optimization health, rated out of 100. Optimization suggestions are provided to guide improvements.

Suggestions are organized by priority, with recommendations for actions. Following these suggestions helps improve your app’s visibility and rankings.

Top Performing Countries

The Top Performing Countries section displays which countries are generating the most Impressions, Store Views, Installs, and Sales. This data helps you to:

  • Identify the most successful regions for your app.

  • Recognize areas that may need additional focus in app marketing and ASO efforts.

To view specific metrics:

  • Select Impressions, Store Views, Installs, or Sales in the tab switcher.

  • Use the date range selector to adjust the time period.

Conversion Rate

The Conversion Rate section provides insights into your app's conversion rates, showing how well it turns Store Views into Installs. This data allows you to:

  • Assess the effectiveness of your app listing and ASO.

  • Identify storefronts that may require further optimization.

To analyze this data:

  • Choose All Countries or a specific country from the dropdown menu.

  • Adjust the date range to focus on a particular period.

Uninstalls and Crashes

The Uninstalls and Crashes sections show the rate at which users are uninstalling your app, segmented by country and provide data on how often your app crashes, allowing you to monitor stability and address potential issues. This information allows you to:

  • Visualize how app uninstalls are developing over time.

  • Identify countries with higher uninstall rates.

To drill down into the data:

  • Hover over the chart to view uninstall numbers by day and country and crash numbers within the selected period.

  • Use the date range selector to focus on a specific period.

Total Ratings and New Ratings

The Total Ratings section shows you the total amount of ratings your app has. Google periodically removes outdated or spam ratings to ensure the total reflects genuine user feedback over time.

The New Ratings section allows you to see only the new ratings your app has received in the selected date range. Google prioritizes recent ratings to better reflect the current state of the app, filtering out older ratings that may no longer be relevant. Here you're able to:

  • Assess user satisfaction.

  • Track rating changes over time to evaluate the impact of updates or improvements.

Use filters to view ratings by date and country for in-depth analysis. Hover over any part of the graph to drill-in.

Reviews and Featured Reviews

The Reviews and Featured Reviews sections present user feedback on your app, allowing you to:

  • Monitor user sentiment.

  • Identify improvement areas based on comments.

  • Check some of the reviews your app received.

  • Missing data often indicates that none of the selected apps were ranked during the analyzed timeframe or region.

  • Double-check selected parameters (category, timeframe, region) if no data appears in your view.

This ASO Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your app’s metrics, performance indicators, and areas for improvement, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance your app’s visibility and success.
