The App Store Performance feature measures your appˈs performance in terms of Store Views and Installs. Additionally, the feature shows the conversion rates between metrics.
To access this feature you have to connect your developer account with App Radar and grant the following rights:
Needed Google Play Console Permissions
Account Owner, Administrator, or View Financial Data (If you only have View Financial Data rights, you also need Release Manager rights to perform app updates).
For Google Play you can see your App Store Performance by Store Analytics and Installs per Keyword.
Note: You can click on each country listed below the chart to hide it for a clearer view.
Howevering over the chart will allow you to see the information for that specific date. You can see specific numbers for your selected countries as well as the Overall number in the pop-up.
Store Analytics
Store Analytics section is divided into two tabs - Store Views and Installs.
Store Views
When you are under the Store views tab, you can check how often your app's product page was viewed by one single person.
You can also select the date segmentation: either Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
The Metrics Table
Store Views section has a metrics table with Store Views, Installs and Conversion Rate (CVR) available. This makes it easy for you to track the metrics all the way throughout the user journey.
Chart: Toggle to visualize the information in the chart individually by country or by specific source directly
Country: Countries displayed in the chart above
Store Views: How often your appˈs product page was viewed by one single person.
Installs: How many users downloaded the app for the first time.
CVR: From store views to installs - the percentage of app store listing visitors that downloaded your app.
Actions that you can take on the table:
You can filter the data by Countries and Sources;
You can manage table columns to make them visible or hidden;
Select specific Countries
Toggle the checkmark in the chart column to select which countries you would like to visualize in the Chart;
4. Compare Countries
You can compare multiple countries by checking the boxes next to them - this will immdiately reflect on the Chart's data.
5. Conversion Rate History
Click on Show CVR History Table to see additional information. Here you'll get detailed breakdown for a specific timeframe segmented by Day and by Source.
You can change the Date Range, and also the Source and Country that you would like to see the detailed information for.
Installs per Keyword
When you are in the Installs per Keyword view, you can see which keywords generated Store Views, Downloads, or Sales. This way you can discover your most valuable keywords for a specific month.
The Metrics Table
Store views: how often your appˈs product page was viewed by a unique user. In Google Play Console this is called Store Visits.
CVR (for store views): conversion rate from store page views to installs
Installs: how many unique users downloaded the app for the first time. In Google Play Console this is called Installs.
CVR (for installs): Conversion rate from installs to sales
Sales: For paid apps, this is the number of app sales. For free apps, this is the number of in-app purchases, in Google Play Console these are the New Buyers.
You will also see helpful pie charts for your Top Keywords for Installs, as well as your Top performing Countries by Installs. This will allow you to see your top performing Keywords and Countries at a quick glance.
You can adjust:
Country
Date range
Columns that you want to see
Adjusting Order
You can rearrange the information order in all charts, by clicking on the metrics you would like to focus on.
In the example below, I clicked on CVR until I saw the arrow down, which means I see the keyword with high conversion rates first.
If you have this sorting applied, you will see that the column is highlighted in purple.
