Review Management in App Radar

Manage, reply, and analyze app reviews with templates, alerts, and translation tools to improve user engagement and feedback handling

Written by Tony Bondar

Review management is an extremely useful feature.

It allows you to reply to reviews that your app receives in Google Play and the Apple App Store. The responses that you submit in this feature are automatically sent to Google Play Console and App Store Connect. So after you submit, there's no other action needed.

To use this page, you must first establish a Review Management Connection with either Google Play or the App Store. This connection enables App Radar to access your app’s reviews directly and respond seamlessly.

Please note that for Google Reviews, only the last 7 days of reviews are imported after the connection is established.

Keep in mind, it can take up to 24 hours for your responses to be published.

If you realize you made a mistake in your reply or would like to edit your reply, you can do so after you've submitted it. Just go back to the review and click Edit answer.

After you save a reply as a template, you can manage it in the Templates feature.

If the review isn't in your language, you can easily translate it to English.

Next time you want to add an existing tag to a review, simply select it from the dropdown list.

Click the Delete icon to delete the tag.

Later on, you can use Filters to view only reviews with specific tags:

Common Causes for Missing or Non-Updating Reviews

  1. Connection Issues:

    • Occasionally, the connection between your app and the review tracking system may be outdated or broken, requiring re-establishment.

  2. Insufficient Permissions:

    • When establishing a connection, please make sure you give us the Admin (for iOS apps) or Editor role (for Android apps). This way we can be sure that the connection works properly and AppRadar has enough rights to access the Review functionality.

If specific errors persist, consult AppRadar's Support Team for additional guidance via [email protected].
